Q. What parts are covered by the lifetime parts warranty?

A. All parts are covered by the lifetime parts warranty with the exception of heat exchangers (all types), compressors and control boards.

Q. Why should I have a Dalton Complete Home Comfort Membership Plan?

A. Having a plan is more than service, it’s about protection of some of the most valuable assets in your home. With typical agreements, you pay more to have priority service when there’s a problem. With this new plan, you not only get priority service from our trusted certified technicians, but you can prevent those problems from happening in the first place, saving you time and money.

Q. How does my membership plan renew? Why does it have to automatically renew?

A. Membership renewals are common industry practice, with that said, Dalton is an eco–friendly, Go Green company, so current members will receive notice via email or a phone call prior to their annual credit card purchase. Members may cancel their membership at any time.

Q. If I move, is the Dalton Complete Home Comfort Membership Plan transferrable to my new home?

A. This is a great bonus – the plan not only stays with your current home, but it also moves to your new one!!

Q. Who sets up the appointments for the annual inspection? Is that something I need to remember?

Q. This is such an incredible deal. Last year I paid $200 for the Heating and Cooling membership plan, and now I receive the entire home plan for only $200…what’s the catch?

A. Dalton values our customers and we appreciate your opinions. With busy lifestyles today, our customers wanted one–stop–shopping for their total home comfort needs… so we added Electrical to our suite of services and created a plan to accommodate all of these service lines. When our customers ask, we listen.

Q. If I call in for a Clean and Tune and then decide to join the membership plan, can I take the diagnostics charge off my account?  

A. Yes, we will transfer this fee into your membership annual fee for no additional charge.  

Q. Why did we go back to diagnostics for members?

A. To help control costs on the agreement, which means a lower fee for our customers.

Q. Do I really need to have my HVAC unit inspected annually?

A. Yes.  A dirty blower wheel is a pain in the wallet!! A blower wheel has blades that are specifically designed to push around air. Any dirt on those blades will cause your blower motor to work harder. In a recent EPA study, it was found that as little as 1/16th of an inch of dust accumulated on your furnace’s blower wheel can reduce your furnace’s air flow by as much as 31%.

Q. Is the salt included in the salt delivery?

A. The delivery is included, however there is a price for the bags of salt.

A. Please review all of the benefits above.  One of the most popular items that our customers appreciate is the Smoke/CO2 Detector Testing and Battery Replacement.

Q. Do you clean chimneys on wood burning stoves?

A. Yes, we can help you, however we use one of our many reputable contractors for this area of service.
