Dalton Plumbing, Heating & Cooling Inc., voted number one in the Courier’s 2005 “Best of the Best” for plumbing, heating and cooling, will be relocating within the Cedar Falls Industrial Park. Dalton has outgrown its current facility and will be opening their new facility next door on November 28, 2005 at 5536 Nordic Drive in Cedar Falls.

The new building site will include up to eight offices, a conference room, parts counter, customer service area, more parking and a large, customized sheet metal facility. With over 10,000 square feet, the new location is more than double the size of their current location and will allow them additional space to house all plumbing, heating and cooling inventory under one roof, and all on one level.

For their customers, this expansion means faster service and response time, a reorganized supply center for increased efficiency, as well as an expanded inventory now readily available to meet customers needs.

Dave Krejchi, owner of Dalton Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, believes the move is just what the company needs. “I am thrilled about this move,” he said. “With our entire product line under one roof, we will be more efficient at serving our customers.”

The larger facility also provides an opportunity for expansion. Dalton currently employs 20 people, and sees continued growth in the future with the potential to add up to five more employees in the next few years.
